〜KANATO GIVES BACK〜
My dream is to become F1 driver. I practice karting and try very hard, and of course study hard too which I am not very good at.
I think there are many kids who have a lot of dreams around the world, just like me dreaming to become F1 driver. I am very thankful to what I have now because I learned there are many kids who need to give up their dreams because of many reasons. Now, I am looking to support other kids who have dreams just like me.
I want to back up the kids to go for their dreams.
Finally, my wish came true and I had an opportunity to donate sone of the prizes earned in the kart race in 2018 to children in Cambodia.
And I could deliver sports equipments and school supplies for all 342 students to the school with kindergarten and elementary school which takes about 3 hours by car from Phnom Penh.
I was really glad that everyone was so happy.
Like me, everyone had a dream for the future.
I will not forget the boy who answered me to go to school on order to make his dream come true.
They all answered that they love school.
Everyone was sparkling. I thought that I would do my best to carry out what I have to do now so that I would not lose to everyone in this school even though I do not like study so much.
And I strongly felt that I would like to continue what I can do for everyone in this school.

In 2020, I made the big decision to move to England so that I can further pursue my dream. So I sold my kart I was using in Japan and with the money that I got from selling parts of the kart, I was able to donate masks, non-contact thermometers and hand sanitizers.
I wanted to go and see the newly built school and hand the items to everyone in person but the current situation of the pandemic unfortunately didn’t allow me to do this. But I was happy to see photos of everyone in masks, looking healthy and energetic. The masks have the school logo printed on them, which was designed by my favorite Hawaiian artist, Mr.Welzie.

I donated Christmas gifts to the school of Hoku Lea and Hou Lea Learning center last year 2024.
Always happy to see their smiles and I really appreciate that I have an opportunity to support them.
